To the Americans

If you're reading this, you probably found the wrong website, according to the statistics. The title of this blog leaves room for a lot of possibilities what it might be about. Let me make a few things clear about myself before you decide to read on (or not). Possibly with help from a translation engine, I imagine.

I am a German and therefore write mainly in german. Not that I couldn't write in english as well but it is easier to do in my mother tongue.

I opened this blog because I got diagnosed with MS two months ago. Since my life since I got my masters degree in political science one and a half years ago isn't going great in a lot of respects, this diagnosis obviously wasn't the best for me and it certainly had the wrong timing. I felt (and feel) empty - a holiday would be nice for a change -, so the title "Empty Space" seemed to fit. I just have to get things off my chest sometimes, so I write this blog from time to time. Not very cheery entries, but I still try to be positive. I just can't help but be miserable sometimes. So it's better to write here than stabbing someone in the streets, I think. I want to remain anonymous, because I think that it doesn't matter who I am and that there are other people in the same situation, so in my hubris I think I can speak for other people, too. That would be nice, although an "arty" description, maybe.

So I do this first for myself. I don't really care if anyone reads it, but a little feedback is always nice.

If you want to comment, you're welcome to. If you don't want to say amything at all and/or return to your search for some hip gothic/metal/emo band or whatever you were searching for, then that is fine with me.
